Although we cannot yet prove scientifically that exposure to mold causes specific illnesses in people, we have a large body of evidence that supports this cause and effect relationship. For this reason, many U.S. and Canadian health and safety agencies have developed recommended procedures for handling indoor mold problems. This 4-hour interactive online course is a collection of these recommendations, including methods for assessing the magnitude of a mold problem, controlling the growth of mold, and planning and executing a mold cleanup project.
The goal of this course is to help participants understand:
How to conduct an environmental assessment for mold
How to control and prevent mold
How to plan, execute, and manage a mold remediation project
There will be a multiple-choice test at the end of this course.
