The objectives of this online HAZWOPER course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) or 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(iii) for general industry, and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(3)(ii) or 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(3)(iii) for construction. This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations.
Our course meets the 40 hours of instruction off the site, and we recommend as per industry standard that the student receives the additional 3 days of field experience and personal protective equipment training from their employer or potential employer, that is customized for that student’s individual job function as well as a proper medical evaluation.
Please Note: This Hazwoper 40 Hour Course should be used to compliment an overall safety training program that should include sufficient hands on training and practice.
