The 24-Hour Hazmat Technician Training course provides a focused, practical foundation for responding to hazardous materials emergencies at the technician level. Participants learn how to identify hazmat threats, conduct risk assessments, select the right protective equipment, and apply control and containment tactics in real-world scenarios.
Blending targeted classroom instruction with hands-on field work, this course ensures responders can confidently operate monitoring equipment, perform leak control techniques, and manage decontamination procedures. Upon completion, students meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER) technician-level training requirements and are prepared to play an active role in hazardous materials mitigation efforts.
