Construction safety is one of OSHA’s top concerns. Construction is among the most dangerous industries in the country and construction inpsections comprise 60% of OSHA’s total inspections. The four areas or “Focus Four” that OSHA recommends additional training for are; Fall Hazards, Caught-In or -Between, Struck-By, and Electrocution.
In 2021 the Center for Construction Research and Training found that of the approximately 10,700 fatal workplace injuries in the construction industry, over 65.5% resulted from a Focus Four injury, with falls being of the highest concern.
This training course will provide the learner with an overview of the “Caught-In or -Between Hazard” topic with the goal of educating construction workers on how to identify and protect themselves from hazards on or around construction sites.
