What Is Safety Awareness for New Employees Course?
MARCOM’s Safety Awareness for New Employees course is an online training program designed to introduce new workers to a wide variety of workplace hazards and explain what they need to do to avoid them. The course helps employees think “safety first” from their very first day on the job and every day thereafter.
Every year, almost three million employees get injured on the job or develop a work-related illness, and about five thousand more lose their lives. The course covers a broad range of safety and regulatory compliance topics including slips, trips and falls, industrial ergonomics, using hand and power tools and machinery safely, forklift safety, electrical safety and lockout/tagout, hazard communication and personal protective equipment, fire prevention and emergency response, health emergencies, first aid and bloodborne pathogens.
The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, and accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
