Yes. The course is accessible on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Your progress saves automatically on the same device, so you can pause and resume at any time.
Upon completing the course, you should recognize that other drivers on the road can create significant hazards, know how environmental conditions like weather can affect driving safety, and understand how defensive driving can help keep you and others around you safe.
Other drivers who are speeding, tailgating, or not paying attention can put truck drivers at risk. But other drivers are not the only hazard – low visibility, work zones, and pedestrians also create dangers. Because large vehicles handle differently than passenger cars, CDL drivers need specific defensive driving techniques to anticipate and respond to these hazards safely.
