Construction safety is one of OSHA’s top concerns. Construction is among the most dangerous industries in the country and construction inpsections comprise 60% of OSHA’s total inspections. The four areas or “Focus Four” that OSHA recommends additional training for are; Fall Hazards, Caught-In or -Between, Struck-By, and Electrocution.
In 2021 the Center for Construction Research and Training found that of the approximately 10,700 fatal workplace injuries in the construction industry, over 65.5% resulted from a Focus Four injury, with falls being of the highest concern.
This training course will provide the learner with an overview of the “Electrocution” topic with the goal of educating construction workers on how to identify and protect themselves from electrocution hazards on or around construction sites.
