This EM 385 training course is based off of, and complies with, the US Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 manual, and is compliant with the most recent 2014 revisions to that manual. This training, and the EM 385-1-1 manual, prescribes the safety and health requirements for all Corps of Engineers activities and operations.
This 40 hour training course is completely self-paced and can be taken entirely around your schedule. Simply log back in to continue a previous session from any point in the training. The course does not expire, and will remain in your training dashboard until it has been completed.
This EM 385-based safety training applies to anyone needing to receive a certificate stating they have been trained in compliance with the EM 385-1-1 US Army Corps Safety & Health requirements, including military personnel, government employees, or contractors working on Corps of Engineers managed job sites, including NAVFAC. It has been updated to reflect the 2014 changes made to the USACE manual.
