What Is Accident Investigation Course?
The Accident Investigation course is an online safety training program that teaches employees the goals of an accident investigation, the investigation process itself, and how they can participate to help make their workplace safer. The course covers how to systematically examine incidents to determine root causes, so that policies, procedures, or equipment can be updated to prevent similar accidents. It is delivered through MARCOM, a safety and compliance training content provider.
Training covers accidents and near misses, investigations and root cause analysis, the role of tools and equipment in accidents, the importance of training in accident prevention, the role procedures play in preventing accidents, and how to learn from accidents to improve workplace safety.
The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, and accessible on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
