The Fire Prevention and Safety in Construction Environments course is an online safety training program that teaches construction workers how to recognize fire hazards, prevent fires, and respond appropriately if a fire occurs on the job site. The course covers the chemistry of fire, common ignition sources, fire prevention measures, and emergency response procedures.
This course is designed for construction workers who may be exposed to fire hazards on the job site. This includes general laborers, supervisors, workers performing hot work, workers handling flammable materials, and fire watch personnel.
The course takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete. It is fully self-paced, meaning you can pause and resume at any time. You have 6 months from enrollment to finish. Progress saves automatically on the same device.
The course covers the chemistry of fire (heat, fuel, oxygen, and chemical reactions), common ignition sources on construction sites, fire prevention strategies, proper storage and handling of flammable and combustible materials, use of fire extinguishers, and what to do when a fire occurs on a job site.
Yes. Upon passing the final exam with a score of 70% or higher, you can immediately print a certificate of completion. This certificate serves as proof of training for your employer.
