This 8 Hour Confined Space Supervisor Course was built from the OSHA standard for permit-required confined space safety in general industry – CFR 1910.146, and is taken entirely online.
OSHA defines a confined space as an area that is (1) large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work and (2) has limited or restricted means for entry or exit and (3) is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. If this describes the type of space you may be entering, then this course is for you.
This comprehensive, self-paced 8 hour course includes hazard identification and remediation, detailed Permit Required Confined Space topics and sub-topics, supervisor responsibilities, and much more. The course is made up of 11 units covering a wide range of instruction and is self-paced, fully narrated, and contains interactive exercises, video, downloadable material, and knowledge check quizzes along the way.
While taking the course, the student will also have access to an instructor via email. Any questions a student has about the material covered throughout the course can be emailed directly to firstname.lastname@example.org and an instructor response is guaranteed within 12 hours.
This course is packed with useful, downloadable forms that you can use right away to implement a Confined Space program at your workplace that adheres to the proper record keeping regulations.
